Re-opening Guidelines

As of 7.1.2020

RECEPTION / HALLWAYS / COMMON AREAS

  • The waiting area is effectively closed until further notice. Users may not enter the facility until the start of their booking time.  They will not be permitted to wait in the reception area or anywhere else in the building 
  • A 6-foot distance must be maintained at all times
  • Masks or other facial coverings that cover the nose and mouth must be worn upon entering the building and must remain on until entering a studio
  • Gatherings in common areas is prohibited
  • A point person for each booking will need to supply the Sunlight front desk with name and contact info for all people attending your session
  • Common areas will be industrially disinfected at the start of each day and then sanitized continuously throughout the day with close attention paid to high-touch areas such as door handles and vending machines
  • The reception desk will be outfitted with a plexi-glass panel to protect the receptionist and guests
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the facility
  • Masks are available for sale at the front desk

STUDIO USE

  • Studios will be limited to 50% capacity as follows:
    • Studio A: 18 occupants
    • Studio B: 12 occupants
    • Studio C: 2 occupants
    • Studio D: 20 occupants
    • Studio E: 10 occupants
    • Studio F: 10 occupants
    • Studio G: 30 occupants
    • Studio H: 4 occupants
  • High touch-points such as door handles and pianos will be sanitized after each booking
  • Users will be provided supplies and must clean any utilized music stands, chairs and tables at the end of their booking
  • If anyone has symptoms during your session, please send them home and alert the front desk so that we can clean any affected areas
  • Users are encouraged to maintain a six-foot distance from one another at all times
  • If you are unsure that something was wiped down, please wipe it down in an abundance of caution

BATHROOMS

  • Bathrooms will be limited to two occupants at a time
  • Bathrooms will be cleaned once per hour

ELEVATORS

  • Building elevator capacity is limited to three occupants at a time
  • Users are encouraged to utilize the building stairs (it’s one flight up) for easier access to the second floor

FREIGHT ELEVATORS

  • All equipment must come into the building through the loading dock located at 325 West 44th Street
  • PPE must be worn in order to access the freight area

COVID RELEASE & INDEMNITY

  • By leasing User the Studio(s), Sunlight Studios is in no way representing that User’s use or occupancy rate is compliant with current COVID-19 standards published by any governmental or other supervisory authority and User is fully responsible for ensuring that its particular use and/or occupancy rate are compliant with current COVID-19 guidelines. User exercises rights granted at User’s own risk and indemnifies, defends and holds harmless Sunlight Studios from and against any and all liability for fines, penalties, damages, costs, illnesses, losses and expenses resulting from, arising out of, or in any way connected with the occupation or use of the rented Studio(s) by User, or User’s User’s, invitees or guests.
